Terms and Conditions.  Please read carefully

By entrusting your pet in the care of "Pet Sitting by Antonia", trading as "Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare", or commencing any of our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY

I agree as follows with respect to Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare and the grooming, doggy daycare and/or overnight boarding services to be provided in relation to my pet/s.

1. I understand that while Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare will provide reasonable care for and supervision of my pet(s), they do not guarantee that constant supervision will be provided at all times.

2. I understand that my pet or pets may be unsupervised for short periods of time. I also understand that my pet or pets will have access to a fenced backyard with natural, landscaped and manmade features, including but not limited to sunlight, trees, stumps, plants, grass, dirt, rocks, puddles and gates, and that Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare is not responsible for any injury to my pet or pets in respect of this environment.

3. I understand that Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare allows dogs to play and interact directly with one another off leash, and that when groups of dogs are off leash together there is a risk of injury. I understand the inherent risk that my pet or pets may be injured by other dogs during interaction, play or roughhousing (and that such injuries may include but are not limited to bites, scratches and scrapes), regardless of Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare’s care and supervision.

4. I represent that my pet or pets:

• Have been in my care for at least 4 weeks and have not injured or shown aggression or threatening behaviour to any person or animal;

• Have received a current DHPP vaccine (C3/C4/C5 equivalent) and a current Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccine, and that my pet or pets receive and are up to date (and will remain up to date) with flea, tick and heartworm prevention;

• Are in good health; and

• Have been spayed or neutered, or if not, that I have drawn this to the attention of Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare.

5.     I understand that:

• • No pet showing any type of aggression will be admitted to Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare;

  • If my pet or pets show aggression at any time while in the care of Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare, they will be separated from all other dogs in order to maintain a safe environment; and

  • Vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention are not guaranteed and that there is an inherent risk that my pet or pets may contract a contagious disease, illness or condition while in the care of Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare and interacting with other dogs.

6.     I warrant that:

• I will not bring my pet or pets to Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare if they have been ill or otherwise infected with any known contagious viruses in the 14 days prior to attendance; and

• If my female pet or pets have not been spayed or neutered, I will not bring them to Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare while on heat.

7.     I agree that Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare:

• • May contact my nominated vet (or any other accessible vet clinic in the event that the my nominated vet is not available or more immediate care is required) should Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare form the view that my pet or pets require medical attention. If Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare is unable to reach my nominated emergency contact, I authorise emergency medical care to be provided to my pet or pets by a veterinarian and will reimburse Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare for all costs related to that care;

  • May take photos of my dog and use them on its website and social media profiles for advertising purposes;

  • is not responsible for any personal items (e.g. dog toys, dog beds) I send to Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare for my pet or pets.

8.     I acknowledge and agree that:

• If my pet or pets are not picked up by the agreed time, Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare will charge me a late fee of $30 per hour which will be payable within 7 days;

• If I am more than 1 hour late, Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare will take all actions deemed necessary for the continuing care of my pet or pets, the costs of which I must reimburse Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare; and

• I will engage in a respectful, responsible and reasonable manner in my dealings with and in relation to Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare, including in anything published online.

I release Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare from any and all liability which I or my pet or pets may suffer, including but not limited to their distress, injury, illness or death, because of their attendance at Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare. I also release Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare from any and all liability in the event that my pet or pets injure another dog or person while in the care of Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare and accept full medical and legal responsibility for my pet’s or pets’ actions. I indemnify and hold harmless Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare against any and all charges, costs, expenses, claims, damages or liabilities arising from the actions of my pet or pets while they are under Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare’s care, including legal claims and medical expenses.

By commencing the services of Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare I understand and agree to the terms & conditions set forth above and agree to be bound by them.
